Design story: Blooming Tapestry
繁花似锦 (Fán Huā Sì Jǐn)
Jing describes this pair as an improvisation. Patterned cloth, stitched edging, scattered beadwork and tassels gathered into a vertical field of color as she worked. Rather than illustrating a fixed motif, the design grew through the making process—a small tapestry in bloom.
